SCALEXTRIC C3941 MERCEDES AMG GT3 2017 SUNENERGY1 RACING DAYTONA 24 HOURS

 

Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship, this Mercedes AMG GT3 features one of the most striking liveries ever put onto a Scalextric model. Mimicking the heat of the sun in reference to its sponsor SunEnergy, the car seems to be a mass of heat and flame flying around the circuit. The car itself raced at the 2017 Daytona 24 Hours and has continued to be a fixture in the IMSA series throughout the year. Raced by a number of drivers including factory Mercedes man Maro Engel, the car itself sadly did not finish, but its livery certainly left a lasting impact on spectators.
